Sharing the good feelings at the pageant.

Kumu Hula master Buddy Carson Koakanu of Ka Pa Hula 'O Koakanu was a great blessing on this journey! I was introduced to his Ohana circle, Paki, Anuinui and Mapuana with exhilirating feelings of Aloha! I will love them for a lifetime!

Tahiti Fete 2005 will always be a treasured memory and highlight in my career! I am so honored and thankful to be associated with such an incredible dance competition and festival! My love and gratitude goes out to Aunty Pua and Dwight Tokumoto! Pictured below is Waianuhea and Kanoe, a sweet young fan from California.

San Jose, California / July 2nd-4th, 2005

I had the time of my life this past July 4th weekend! I was honored to be a part of the Tahiti Fete 2005 in San Jose, California. Aunty Pua and Uncle Dwight Tokumoto presented a top quality festival that I will remember for a lifetime! All the great dancing, singing, food and art! But mostly, the beautiful individuals that I met were the highlight of it all. So much Aloha was shared with everyone! I had the thrill of meeting in person Waianuhea Lourdes Rodriguez, our Miss Lovely Hula Hands 2005 winner! She flew all the way in from her homeland in Mexico City. We performed twice together on stage. I also bonded during some hang time with Waianuhea and her gracious husband Alberto.
